Current Schedule for 2008 City Council Meetings
The Council meets the first and third Monday of the month. Should there be a legal holiday on Monday, then the meeting will be on Tuesday. Should there be any change, a notice will be posted by the City Clerk. Should you have any questions, or wish to verify if a meeting has been rescheduled, please contact the Clerk at 510-528-5710. Albany residents may wish to view the televised Council meeting on Channel 33 the night of the meeting at 8 PM. Rebroadcasts are on the following Wednesday and Sunday, both Noon and 7 PM on Channel 33.
NEW FEATURE: The Albany Library Customer Reference Desk now has copies of Council Meetings on DVD that can be checked out by residents to view at home. The Library says it will keep these on file for 6 months. Since the usual turn around of new material received by the library for "normal" sign out takes a month to get into their system, these DVD's will be held at the Reference Desk and checked out manually by library staff.
