Committee Origin:

City Council Minute Action, April 29, 1974.

Committee Purpose:

Advises the City Council on cultural and artistic activities within the City and sponsors arts programs and activities, as well as fundraising events to support these programs.

Committee Composition:

Members/Term: 10 Council Appointees - Members serve for two years, until the next Municipal Election.

Spring Art & Music Festival

Sunday, May 4th
11 am-4 pm

The Albany Arts Committee is now accepting applications for the Spring Art & Music Festival. Artists who are interested in having a booth at the event follow the instructions in the Application Packet

Community Center Gallery

Are you an artist interested in being considered for a future show in the Albany Community Center Foyer Gallery? Download the packet and submit your materials to the Arts Committee by the end of March each year. The Gallery hosts 4-5 shows each year.
