Board Origin:

City Council Resolution #94-16.

Board Purpose:

Advises the City Council on matters relating to the Albany branch of the Alameda County Library system.

Board Composition:

    Members/Term:  

    5 Council Appointees - Members serve for two years, until the next Municipal Election
    1 Member - Recommended by Friends of the Albany Library
    1 Councilmember who serves on the Alameda County Library Commission

    The Board members select one member to serve as Chairperson.
