Committee Origin:

City Council Minute Action, April 29, 1974.

Committee Purpose:

The Waterfront Committee advises the City Council on issues related to the preservation and enhancement of the Albany waterfront.

Members:

  5 Council Appointees - Each City Council Member appoints one whose term runs until the next Municipal Election.

Two appointees-At-Large are appointed by the entire City Council and serve until the next Municipal election. (per Charter Sec. 2.23a.)

The Committee members select one member to serve as Chairperson.
