The Albany Fire Department is a full service department providing the community with fire protection, emergency and disaster response, paramedic services, community education including CPR, first aid, home safety, earthquake preparedness and search and rescue classes. The department also provides residents with a smoke detector installation program, sponsors a junior firefighter program and is available for blood pressure screening for any Albany resident.
