Did you know flushing drugs down the toilet can impair our waterways? Local wastewater treatment plants are equipped to treat wastewater, but not able to manage medication in wastewater.

Treated waste water is released into the bay, as well as any medication that may have been flushed, potentially impairing local waterways and aquatic species.
