The photos in the current homepage rotation were taken by Emilie Raguso the local editor for Albany Patch.

Emilie has lived in the East Bay since 2004 and written most recently for Oakland Local. Her stories have been featured on the New York Times website, Salon and NPR, and in the East Bay Express and various publications. Emilie was a crime reporter for The Modesto Bee for several years, and before that got her master's in journalism from UC Berkeley. See more of her work at http://raguso.us.
