City of Albany General Municipal Election is to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018vote 2018

Nomination Period:   

July 16, 2018  to  August 10, 2018
(Nomination Period has ENDED)

Extended Nomination Period: 

If an incumbent eligible for re-election does not file, the nomination period is extended for that office to Wednesday, August 15, 2018.
(No Nomination Period Extension, all eligible incumbent filed)

Nomination Papers are to be obtained and filed during this period.  Candidate Nomination Packet will be available at the office of the City Clerk, 1000 San Pablo Avenue, Albany, CA 94706. Candidates are encouraged to make an appointment to obtain nomination papers.

Board of Education
Three (3) 4-year term

Alameda County Registrar of Voters Office will start updating election results shortly after 8 PM on November 6, 2018 after polling precincts close.
Please find election results as available, at the Alameda County Election Results page here.

Please note: the results of the election are to be certified no later than December 6, 2018. 
The Albany City Council will ratify the results of the election as part of a City Council meeting in December 2018.
