ATTENTION: The City of Albany continues to work closely with Alameda County Public Health to monitor and mitigate the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Any iteration of the Friendship Club After School Program would follow the social and physical distancing guidance and healthy practices for child care facilities established by the California Department of Social Services in response to the global coronavirus (COVID-19). Please check back for updates.
Please join us for an all new approach to afterschool time for kids in 1st– 5th grade! Our program is an afternoon oasis where kids are nurtured, respected and responsible for helping create community within our walls and around town. Participants help plan snack, activities, and adventures (along with time for relaxation and homework). Our curriculum is inquiry-based and driven by the needs, interests and conundrums of the kids.
New this year we will be offering care only at the Ocean View Park site. Transportation is provided from Marin and Cornell schools; Ocean View students are escorted to our building.
Enrollment is limited to 55 children per day with a staff to child ratio of no more than 1:12.
Enrollment is limited for children requiring transport from school to our site dependent on van capacity. Previously enrolled students and siblings receive priority enrollment.
Registration has been postponed.
