The Sustainability Division manages the City’s urban and natural environment, including climate action and adaptation planning and implementation; hazard mitigation and disaster resilience; resource reduction, recycling, and solid waste management; creek and open space planning, and more.

The Sustainability Division also serves as staff liaison to the City’s Climate Action Committee.
