Visit the Alameda County Library...without leaving your couch. Even though the library is closed, you can still access eAudiobooks, movies, music, and more with your library card using Alameda County Public Library’s eResources.
Take a walk on Mars. Put yourself in the shoes (tracks?) of the Mars Curiosity Rover with NASA’s Access Mars Virtual Reality tool.
Go to the Oakland Zoo. Marvel at elephants, bears, and condors by tuning into one of the Oakland Zoo’s webcams.
Virtually explore art from world famous museums. Bonus points if you create your own art using items in your house or old art supplies.
Explore National Parks with a virtual tour. Visit Yellowstone, Yosemite, or Denali National Parks from your living room.
Smithsonian- National Museum of Natural History Take self-guided, room-by-room tours of select exhibits and areas within the museum. Access select collections and research areas at satellite support and research stations as well as past exhibits no longer on display.
